Agreed on both fronts! Audience members can be awesome content creators, and PCS is an amazing example. Do you know much about threadless (http://www.threadless.com/)? It would be totally cool to think about how their business model of super high quality user generated content (in this case, graphic design) could be applied to making super high quality theatre. And to make sure and include the feedback loop between artist and audience that they depend on to make the work look so great.

Re: disqus. I know! I just realized I could actually email them to ask for help. So I did. The only option they give for exporting is XML, and I need the file to be WXR, so in theory there must be a way to convert the file. We'll see. But thanks for the twitter plea :)

Theatre companies could use enthusiastic audience members for content creation. Most theatre companies shouldn't have a problem with authenticity - we performers practically live for exhibitionism :)

Portland Center Stage is an amazing example of a theatre company that gets it. They've opened up their space for people to use in all kinds of interesting ways, and their people are all over Twitter & Facebook. It's so much fun because every time I go to a show I feel like I'm always going to see someone I know.

Still using Disqus comments, I see. Didn't learn our lesson the first time? :)
